Uniform Requirements
Here at Nicky Jenks School of Dance, we like all of our students to wear the correct uniform.
This helps the students with their discipline and helps them feel ready to engage and focus in class, as well as looking great. It is also important as it aids teachers in class to help students with the right technique and correct alignment.
We expect hair to be up in a neat classical ballet bun. Students in grade 3 and above should be doing these themselves. Students in Pre-Primary or Primary can wear hair in a ponytail or neat and up, where it’s not possible to get into a bun!

Alternatively, we have a 2nd hand uniform store. This is previously owned dance wear from students at our school and is a great way to purchase uniform that has previously been used but is still in great condition. Please be aware that we have a limited selection of 2nd hand uniform so we may not always have what you are looking for, but we do always try our best!
